About the Workshop Leader:
Diane Laurent is Principal & Managing Director of MARA™ (Milliman Advanced Risk Adjusters) at Milliman, leading the MARA predictive modeling products for population health management. Her experience includes supporting healthcare organizations with predictive risk and population segmentation models and tools. She assists clients with understanding how models can be applied for financial and medical management, performance and outcomes measurement. Recent development has focused on implementing machine learning models, segmentation tools for complex care, and promoting the inclusion of social determinants in evaluating population health. 

Her career includes 20 years in the health risk modeling, and leadership positions in commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans. She helped launch several startups including disease and telephonic case management service companies, transitional care support program to improve catastrophic injury outcomes, and high-risk pregnancy modeling and technology.
